Gwynedd Mercy University outscored Wilkes University 9-0 in the first quarter and 5-0 in the third quarter to provide plenty of separation in the eventual 14-point conclusion. Teagle scored the first (12:53) and last (4:26) goal of the Griffins' 9-0 first quarter. In the second the Colonels cut the deficit by a goal, 12-4, with back-to-back tallies at 7:51 and 6:29, but that was as close as they would get to the Gwynedd Mercy University as the Griffins scored the last three goals of the first half (5:52, 4:46, 2:00), 15-4, and edged the Colonels by a 5-4 spread in the second half.

Gwynedd Mercy University travels to Sewanee, Tennessee for their spring trip competiton. The Griffins will face the hosting Tigers in a 3:00 p.m. contest on Sunday, March 6, before playing St. Mary's College (Ind.) in a 12:00 p.m. contest on Wednesday, March 9.
