New York, NY - (12/10/22) - The Gwynedd Mercy Women's Basketball Team gets back in the win column with a 84-62 win over John Jay College.  With a 7-2 record, the women are off to the best start of a season since 2015. 

Highlights:

• Senior Haley Crossley dominated on both sides of the ball leading both teams in points (23), assists (5), and rebounds (15).  
• Senior Elise Sylvester added 22 points and 2 assists while junior Lynzie Eggers added 19 points and 5 assists. 
• With both teams scoring evenly throughout the first half, the Griffs were up by 5 (36-31) going into the second half. 
• Gwynedd Mercy turned up the heat in the second half and outscored the Blue Jays 48-31, resulting in a final score of 84-62. 

The Griffs will be back in action on December 17th when they host Rowan for a 1pm start.
