Biography
JUNIOR (2021-2022) – Sharkey (25gp-20gs) recorded the first triple-double in school history with 21 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 blocks in an 89-76 victory over Wilkes University (Dec. 18). Sharkey's hallmark afternoon included five three-point baskets (5-of-13, .385), two assists, and three steals. It garnered her both the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Player of the Week (Dec. 20) honors and the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) Division III National Player of the Week (Dec. 21) title. She finished the season averaging 5.5 points per game (PPG) (137 points) and 7.5 rebounds per game (RPG) (188 rebounds), while totaling 17 assists, 52 blocks (3rd in AEC), and 35 steals.
SENIOR (2022-2023) – Sharkey (21gp-20gs) appeared on five AEC Weekly Reports, earning Honor Roll designation on December 12, January 30, and February 6, as well as AEC Defensive Player of the Week honors on November 21 and December 19. The Griffins’ paint protector finished second in the league for blocks (50) and 10th in RPG (6.1, 129 rebounds). She averaged 4.6 PPG (97 points) and additionally totaled 28 assists and 23 steals.
