MADISON, Nj. – Gwynedd Mercy fell to FDU-Florham after a strong battle on Saturday afternoon.

The lone goal scored in the first quarter by FDU-Florham was the difference maker in the game. Although FDU outshot the Griffins 13-1 and held an 11-2 advantage in penalty corners, Gwynedd fought to keep the game in reach.

Kaci Murray had the Griffins' shot on goal while Morgan Lawless held her own in between the pipes with 6 saves.

The Griffins will be back in action at home with a match up against DeSales University on Wednesday, September 15th at 6:00 p.m.
