Gwynedd Valley, Pa. – (10/20/2026) – Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21, the Gwynedd Mercy University field hockey team is pleased to host United East Conference (United East) rival Penn State Harrisburg for a Team FTK sponsored event. Representatives from the Gwynedd Mercy University chapter (@gmercyu_teamftk) will be on-hand to raise awareness and funds for children diagnosed with a form, or variant, of Pediatric Cancer.
 
Through the Four Diamonds Association, GMercyU Team FTK is a volunteer movement that primarily focuses on raising money for children diagnosed with a form or variant of Pediatric Cancer. Their mission is to raise the student body's awareness, host fundraisers, and generate donations. All of the proceeds will be donated to Four Diamonds to help children and families affected with hospital bills, gas/food vouchers, social work services, and even research! The four pillars are honesty, wisdom, courage and strength…these are said to be the four characteristics needed to beat childhood cancer.
