Gwynedd Valley, Pa. – (10/5/2021) – On Tuesday, October 12, the Gwynedd Mercy University will join the fight against Cancer as they host Marywood University for their Play4TheCure event. Students, family, and friends in attendance are encouraged to wear pink to the event and support the cause with a small donation; please use the provided link to access the Gwynedd Mercy University Field Hockey Donation Page. Access to the link is currently available on the field hockey schedule page and a QR Code will be present at the Gwynedd Mercy University Athletic Complex on game day.

Established by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA), in partnership with the National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR), Play4TheCure inspires athletes to leverage their passion for sports to "Play4" loved ones affected by cancer. Throughout the season, participants establish Play4TheCure events that raise dollars to support cancer research; 100% of dollars raised through Play4TheCure supports NFCR-funded scientists.
