Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (10/27/2021) - Gwynedd Mercy University (4-10, 0-6) gave a brilliant effort following an enjoyable Senior Night ceremony as they held the heavy-footed Cyclones from Centenary University (4-10, 1-4) off until the later end of the second half. The Cyclones scored the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) contest's first tally at 20:53 on a long lead down the far sideline, 1-0. After intermission, Centenary University's edge in shots (25-5) took its toll as the Cyclones added additional scores at 63:27, 73:10, and 80:51; 4-0.

Gwynedd Mercy University awaits seeding for the 2021 Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Women's Soccer Championship Tournament. The quarterfinals are scheduled for the home of the higher seed on Monday, November 1.
