BALTIMORE, MD. -- Gwynedd Mercy fell to the hands of Johns Hopkins on Tuesday by the score of 10-5.

Heck paced the Griffins, going 3-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base. T.J. Brasier had two hits and a run scored while Nick Price drove in two runs.

The Griffins trailed early but fought to get it to 6-3 in the sixth, crossing three runs on two hits, two walks and a hit batsmen. However the Blue Jays' James Ingram countered in the bottom half with a three-run home run as part of a four-run frame.

Gwynedd scored unearned runs in each of the seventh and eighth to get it to 10-5 but could draw no closer.

Starter Brian Janetka suffered the loss in his first start of the season. Dillon Bowman picked up the win for Johns Hopkins, striking out six in five innings.

Ingram finished the day officially 1-for-2 with four RBIs, two walks, and two runs scored.

The team now heads to Florida to begin their Spring Break trip. On Saturday, they'll face Hanover at 9:15 a.m.
