ARLINGTON, VA. -- Marymount limited Gwynedd Mercy to a season-low in scoring as the Griffins fell at the Saints, 85-50, Wednesday night in an Atlantic East Conference game.

Gwynedd shot just over 25% for the contest and had their 12-game streak of 10 or more three-pointers snapped, going 7-of-35 from behind the arc.

Tamia Wessels led the Griffins with 10 points while Chyanne Fine was the top rebounder with eight. Haley Crossley kicked in seven points, seven rebounds and three steals.

For the Saints, Katie McShea posted 21 points and 11 boards, both game highs. Teammate Gabriella Haddad added 19.

The Griffins fell behind in the first quarter and were not able to get their first points on the board until 6:31 remaining in the stanza. McShea netted 17 of her points in the first half to help Marymount get out to a sizeable lead at the break.

Gwynedd Mercy continues on the road when they travel to Neumann this Saturday for another Atlantic East matchup.
