LYNCHBURG, VA. -- Lycnhburg handed Gwynedd Mercy an 18-3 defeat Wednesday afternoon.

The Griffins received goals from Samantha Brown, Victoria Braeunle, and Jill Kane, but as a team, were limited to 10 shots on the day. Braeunle also added six draw controls, four groundballs and a pair of caused turnovers.

Alicia Sandoval paced the Hornets with seven points on four goals and three assists. Kelsi Trevisan and Kelsey Nock added three goals apiece.Lynchburg led 13-2 at halftime.

The team continues play down in Virginia on Friday when they play at Sweet Briar College starting at 1 p.m.
