BRYN MAWR, PA. -- Two personal milestones were reached in Gwynedd Mercy's game at Bryn Mawr on Wednesday.
Samantha Brown and
Victoria Braeunle each scored their 100th career goal but it was the Owls who handed the Griffins a 23-16 defeat.
For Brown, the junior scored a career-high seven goals to exactly hit the 100 mark. Braeunle, a sophomore, scored five times (and added two assists) as her second tally of the day hit the century goal total.
Victoria Mollitor (2 goals),
Laura Pelczar, and
Anna Grace Bernicker also recorded goals for Gwynedd.
Isabel Shin led the Owls with a game-high nine points on six goals and three assists. Elicia Edmond added five tallies for Bryn Mawr, who took a one-goal lead late in the first half and turned it into a 12-6 edge at halftime.

Jill Kane, and goalie
Julia Smith each had three groundballs apiece. Kane added three caused turnovers. Braeunle's 12 draw controls was one shy of tying a career high.
Smith made 10 stops in net. Bryn Mawr's Jessica Calloway recorded 15 saves.
The team will look to snap its skid on Saturday when they host Mount Saint Mary at 4 p.m.
