SCOTT TOWNSHIP, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy ran to a runner-up finish at the 2019 Atlantic East Cross Country Championship on Saturday. The Griffins had two individuals earn all-conference honors as Julianna Green was seventh (27:32.0) to earn a spot on the first team while Emily Stewart took home a second-team nod as she was 10th (27:51.8).

The top seven finishers earn first-team selections with the next seven runners picking up second team honors.

Kristen Dougher was just outside a second-team honor as she finished 15th (28:35.6). Keely Greene was 19th (29:13.4) with Alicia Bennett in 23rd (30:16.6). The squad totaled 72 points from their five runners.

The host Pacers were the team and individual winners, totaling 18 points and having Kathryn Shea finish first on the 6k course in a time of 25:38.7. Immaculata was third with 82 points with Marymount fourth (96), Cabrini fifth (109), and Wesley sixth (132).
