LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Gwynedd Mercy spent Saturday at the Rowan University Inter-Regional Border Battle held at the DREAM Park in Logan Township, N.J. 27 Institutions and 224 competitors laced them up on the 6k course.

The Griffins had six runners racing on the day, with the top five figuring in the team scoring:
- Julianna Green was 195th in a time of 26:19.2.
- Alyson Sharkey was 201st (26:57.1)
- Emily Stewart was 205th (27:19.0)
- Keely Greene was 208th (27:38.4)
- Kristen Dougher was 211th (27:56.2)
- Alicia Bennett was 218th (29:52.6)

Genny Corcoran of SUNY-Geneseo was the winner of the race, but it was Johns Hopkins, who placed all five of their runners in the top 10, claiming the team title.

The team now prepares for the upcoming Atlantic East Championships on Saturday, November 2nd hosted by Marywood University.
