LANCASTER, PA. -- The Atlantic East Conference announced its first academic awards for the fall teams with the highest GPA, having Gwynedd Mercy's Field Hockey and Volleyball teams at the top of their respective sports.

The Field Hockey Team posted a 3.60 team GPA for the fall semester while the Volleyball Squad recorded a 3.58 GPA.

Men's Cross Country (3.13 GPA) and Men's Soccer (3.04 GPA) garnered third place finishes while Women's Cross Country (3.27 GPA) was fourth and Women's Soccer (3.33 GPA) fifth in their respective sports.
