DOYLESTOWN, PA. – Delaware Valley's Samantha Greim scored the lone goal of the game in the 103rd minute of double overtime as Gwynedd Mercy lost a tough 1-0 decision to the Aggies on Wednesday.

The Griffins looked to take an early lead just five minutes into the game, but Amanda Credido's shot rang off the crossbar and stayed out of the net.

With 7:41 remaining in the second overtime period, Greim beat a defender to a ball in the box and sent a shot past goalie Kailey Hopkins from 18 yards out to end the extra time affair.

Hopkins battled to help keep GMercyU (0-3) in the contest, finishing with 10 saves. Haley Young recorded six stops for Del Val (1-1).

Gwynedd Mercy travels to New York to face off with John Jay College this Saturday in a 1 p.m. kickoff.
