ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Behind six saves from goalies Abi Kennedy and Sarah Crane, the Gwynedd Mercy Field Hockey Team took down SUNY-Oneonta, 2-0, for their second consecutive shutout win.

Shannon Carroll scored in the game's first five minutes while Kathyrn Lehman chipped in her first career tally in the second and it was all the Griffins needed for their third clean sheet of the season. Kennedy recorded two stops in the first half and Crane made four in the second.

GMercy (4-1) totaled eight shots in the first half and 11 in the second, while registering a total of 14 penalty corners.

Danell Jones made nine stops on the day for the Red Dragons (2-4).

Gwynedd Mercy returns home to face off with nationally-ranked College of New Jersey here on Tuesday, September 18th at 6 p.m.
