RADNOR, PA. -- Cabrini handed Gwynedd Mercy a 23-10 defeat in a Colonial States Athletic Conference matchup Saturday afternoon.

Victoria Braeunle paced the Griffins (4-7, 3-2 CSAC) with three goals. Samantha Brown added four points on two goals and two assists while Lauren Mitros, totaled a goal, assist, eight draws, three caused turnovers, and a pair of groundballs.

Liz Hoeffner netted a game-high seven goals to lead the defending champion Cavaliers (6-5, 5-0 CSAC). Avery Murphy added five as Cabrini jumped out to a 7-0 lead early in the contest, forcing GMercyU to play catchup.

Braeunle added seven draws individually, but as a team, Gwynedd led 18-16 in that category.

The Griffins will welcome Marywood on Tuesday night for a big CSAC matchup. Gwynedd can move closer to a playoff berth with a win.
