GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy fell to Marywood, 22-7, in Colonial States Athletic Conference action Tuesday evening.
Lauren Mitros had a hand in five of the team's seven goals on the night, scoring twice and assisting on three others.
Alyssa Tomsic and
Victoria Braeunle each scored twice and
Camryn Sheahan also tallied for the Griffins (4-8, 3-3 CSAC).
Braeunle scored twice in the opening five minutes for a 2-1 lead but the Pacers held GMercyU scoreless for a long stretch to up their lead to 16-3 at halftime.
Mitros added 10 draw controls and two caused turnovers while she and teammate
Jamie McCarney had two groundballs apiece.
Sam Bussinelli and Gina Babcock each totaled four goals and an assist for the Pacers (7-5, 5-0 CSAC).
The Griffins look to get back on track on Thursday when they host Bryn Mawr in a makeup contest starting at 7 p.m.
