DOYLESTOWN, PA. -- The Gwynedd Mercy Women's Tennis Team played their first match of the fall season on Tuesday, but returned home with a close 5-4 defeat at Delaware Valley.

Jenna Trythall and Sydney Thompson were dual winners on the day. Trythall picked up an 8-3 win at #4 singles while Thompson scored an 8-6 decision at #2 singles. The duo teamed up at #1 doubles and turned in an 8-6 victory.
