CENTER VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy suffered a 5-0 defeat at DeSales on Tuesday afternoon.

The Griffins fell behind early in the contest, but kept it at a one-goal game until halftime. The Bulldogs struck again in the beginning stages of the second en route to a four-goal half.

Michael Kirby and Cooper Moyer each tallied a goal and an assist for DeSales (4-1).

Gwynedd goalie Ryan Oyola made 10 saves as he saw a total of 26 shots and 15 on goal on the day. The keeper duo of Dan Sulpizio and T.J. Corcoran combined for one save to earn the clean sheet.

GMercyU (0-5) travels to Widener on Saturday for a late 5 p.m. start.
