Griffins Can't Keep Up With Blue Jays

GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Elizabethtown posted a 20-4 decision over Gwynedd Mercy Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action.

For the Griffins (0-2), Aubrey Cook and Lauren Mitros each netted two goals. Arianna Hensinger tied a career high with four caused turnovers while goalie Bria Gillard recorded 13 saves.

Addie Stang and Katie Thompson would total four goals and four assists apiece as the Blue Jays (2-0) led from start to finish and would have a total of eight different scorers on the day. Thompson would have a hand in three of the game's first four goals. Stang would net her third for a 7-0 lead before Cook put GMercyU on the board. E-Town would build a 17-2 halftime lead.

The goalie trio of Abby Kopytko, Jennifer Beihoff, and Caity Howell combined to make five saves for the Blue Jays. Allison McLamb totaled three goals, four groundballs, and four caused turnovers.
