ALLENTOWN, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy won its third game in a row an improved to 7-1 in conference play with a 65-33 win at Cedar Crest Wednesday evening.
Chyanne Fine led a balanced attack with 14 points and 12 rebounds for her second career double-double.
Charlotte Kucowski added eight points and a career-high 17 rebounds while
Bianca Adams kicked in nine points and three steals.
Geminii Cabrera scored eight points and had 11 rebounds for the Falcons (3-11, 1-7 CSAC). Taylor Osley registered five points, 10 boards, and three assists.
The Griffins (9-8) led 15-4 after the first quarter and would add to that lead for a 34-9 advantage at the half. Gwynedd shot 32% for the game (27-of-83) but took advantage of 29 Cedar Crest turnovers that led to 22 GM points.
For Fine, the rebound total was also a personal-best as the team held a 60-36 edge on the glass.
Gwynedd Mercy resumes action a week from tonight when they head to Scranton to face off with Marywood.
