TOWSON, MD. -- Gwynedd Mercy fell 4-0 at Goucher on Saturday morning in a matchup of non-conference schools.
The Griffins (1-1) trailed 1-0 midway in the first before a red card was issued to put only 10 players on the field. The ensuing penalty kick made it a 2-0 lead where the score stood into halftime.
The Gopher's Brandon Cohen who scored in the first half, added two more in the second, including a penalty kick in the 65th minute to account for the scoring.

Ryan Oyola made two saves before his red card in the 25th minute. Freshman
Kace Peters and
Tyler Blair would see their first action in net.
Goucher outshot Gwynedd, 19-13, and held a 5-3 corner kick edge. Daniel Hendry recorded six saves in just over 77 minutes of work in goal for the Gophers (1-0-1).
Gwynedd Mercy returns home on Tuesday to host Penn State-Brandywine in a 4 p.m. start.
