RADNOR, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy suffered an 18-4 defeat at Cabrini on Saturday to close out the regular season.

The Griffins (4-11, 4-5 CSAC) will now enter the postseason as the #6 seed and will be on the road for a first-round game next Saturday, April 30th at Marywood.

A pair of seniors registered goals on the day as Danae Perrymond netted three while Brianna Greer added a single score. Arianna Hensinger chipped in four draws while she and Kathryn Reinhart each added three groundballs.

Jess Breuning led the Cavaliers (11-4, 9-0 CSAC) with a game-high four goals. Teammates Sasha Wozniak and Jenn Robinson each had three.

Griffin goalie Bria Gillard recorded 13 saves and registered a career-high five groundballs.

Cabrini built an 11-1 halftime lead and would open the second half with six-straight goals.

Marywood defeated the Griffins in their matchup earlier in the season, back on March 15th.
