ASTON, PA. -- Neumann ended Gwynedd Mercy's three-game win streak as the Knights prevailed, 17-3, Thursday evening in a Colonial States Athletic Conference tilt.
Danae Perrymond led the Griffins (4-10, 4-4 CSAC) with a goal and an assist.
Kerri Flanagan and
Lauren Mitros also tallied goals for GMercyU. Perrymond, along with
Arianna Hensinger totaled three caused turnovers apiece. Hensinger totaled a team-high six groundballs while
Morgan McAndrews added five.
Jordan Hopkins, Shae Risley, Taylor Klever each netted three goals each and Rebecca Dolenti led all scorers with a game-high four for the Knights (10-4, 7-1 CSAC). Hopkins added four assists for a total of seven points.
Gwynedd trailed 13-1 at the a half and were guilty of a season high 36 turnovers.
With their playoff seeding locked up, the Griffins will close out the regular season on Saturday when they visit Cabrini in a 12 p.m. start.
