GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy clinched a playoff berth with their 20-14 win over Notre Dame of Maryland while extending their win streak to three games.
The Griffins (4-9, 4-3 CSAC) claim the sixth and final spot after scoring four goals in the final five minutes of the contest to open up a tight contest.
Arianna Hensinger led the charge with a career-high six goals and seven points.
Lauren Mitros added four tallies as GMercyU tied a season high with 20 goals and would dish out a season-best 10 assists.

Haley Williams, and
Morgan McAndrews all had two assists each.
Megan Morales led the Gators (3-9, 2-6 CSAC) with a game-high eight goals. Teammate Kaitlyn Walter chipped in three scores and an assist.
Notre Dame would score the three goals in the first 5:29 of the contest to build a 3-0 lead. Gwynedd would rattle off four in a row of their own to take their first lead at the 13:08 mark of the stanza. Morales and Walter would strike to knot things up at 6-6, but the Griffins would get scores from Mitros, Hensinger, and McAndrews over the final 1:23 of the half to lead 9-6 at the break.
In the second, the Gators stayed within striking distance, and would get as close as 16-14 on Kirstin McGee's goal with 5:25 left to play. From there, Gwynedd took control and used tallies from Perrymond, Mitros, and a pair from Hensinger to up the lead and help cement the outcome.
Perrymond and
Carrie Kilgore finished with three goals apiece while Greer contributed a pair.
Goalie
Bria Gillard made three saves in each half to finish with six stops for the game. Notre Dame Deja Martin recorded seven on the day.
Gwynedd Mercy finishes the regular season this week with a rescheduled contest at Neumann on Thursday and the finale on Saturday at Cabrini.
The CSAC Tournament kicks off on Saturday, April 30th.
