LAPLUME, PA. -- The Gwynedd Mercy Women's Lacrosse Team would score nine-straight goals to turn a two-goal deficit in the first half into a lead they would not relinquish in their 19-11 CSAC victory at Keystone Saturday afternoon.

Danae Perrymond added five scores and a helper.
Lauren Mitros and
Arianna Hensinger would each net three goals apiece as the Griffins won their second game in a row.

Bria Gillard made nine of her 12 saves in the first half. Keystone keeper Katelyn Coon recorded eight of her 13 stops in the second.
The teams would trade goals in the first 10 minutes before two-straight from Nina Hodanich gave the Giants a 5-3 lead with just over 10 to play in the first. That's when Gwynedd scored the final five of the period including back-to-back tallies from Kilgore, the last coming with just five seconds remaining to give GMercyU an 8-5 edge at the break.
The Griffins (3-9, 3-3 CSAC) opened the second with four goals in a row in the first 6:25 to make it nine-straight and more importantly, a 12-5 advantage. Keystone would only get as close as five goals on two occasions, with the last coming with 11 minutes in the contest.
Hodanich led the Giants (3-6, 2-5 CSAC) with six goals and teammate Emily Hawkins added five.
