IMMACULATA, PA. -- The Griffins suffered their second CSAC defeat of the season, falling 2-0 at Immaculata on Saturday.

The stats for both teams were nearly identical, but it would be the Mighty Macs scoring a goal in each half to help decide the outcome. Each team officially recorded 10 shots apiece as well as recording three saves for goalie's Tyler Blair (Gwynedd) and Joe Lubonski (Immaculata).

IU's Pat Friend made it 1-0 in the 38th minute with a header in the box. In the 63rd minute, the score became 2-0 when the Griffins were called for a foul inside the box. Alex Noel converted the penalty kick to account for the day's scoring.

Gwynedd Mercy (7-8, 3-2 CSAC) will host Marywood on Tuesday in their final regular season home game. The Griffins will play their final three games on the road.
