GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. --
Danny Saba scored his fourth career overtime game winning goal to help the Gwynedd Mercy Men's Soccer Team to a 2-1 win over Cairn in double overtime Tuesday night.
Saba also added an assist as he set up brother
Matt Saba early in the contest for a 1-0 lead. For Danny, it was his team and CSAC-leading ninth tally on the season. The Griffins (7-7, 3-1 CSAC) would stay on top through the half.
The Highlanders (4-9-1, 0-4 CSAC) would answer with just under 19 minutes in regulation as Brendan Keller knotted the contest up at 1-1.
After each team had one shot in the first overtime, the teams went to a second extra session. Senior
Hunter Bishop would notch his first career point, as he assisted on the game winner. For Saba, it was also his second overtime goal this season as he struck in extra time for a 3-2 win at Bryn Athyn.

Tyler Blair made two saves for his second win on the year. Cairn keeper Mark Heater made six stops.
The team plays at Immaculata on Saturday in conference action starting at 1 p.m.
