BOX SCOREASTON, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy fell to Cabrini, 9-6, in the first game of the day in the 2015 CSAC Softball Tournament hosted by Neumann on Friday morning.
The Griffins now face Immaculata, who lost a 3-2 walk-off contest to the host Knights in the second game of the day, in an elimination game today around 3 p.m.
Gwynedd, who left a season-high 11 runners on base, started off with a bang in their second playoff game in a row, scoring two in the first and four in the second for a 6-0 lead.
The Cavaliers would chip away with a three-spot in the third and use a big six-run fourth to take the lead for good.
