SCRANTON, PA. -- Through 110 minutes of play, both Gwynedd Mercy and Marywood battled to a scoreless draw on Saturday.

Senior goalie Greg Gengaro (Bloomsbury, N.J./Phillipsburg) stopped eight shots, all of which counted when they had to. He would push a good Marywood attempt in the first overtime over the crossbar. He would make four of his eight saves in the overtime periods for his second shutout this season and fourth career

The Griffins had their offensive chances as well, with their best look came in the 83rd minute, when junior Danny Saba (Dallas, Pa./Dallas) found the right post after a short breakaway.

Marywood had a 12-1 advantage in corner kicks over Gwynedd-Mercy as the Pacers outshot the Griffins, 23-14. Pacer keeper Justin Sunseri made eight saves including a pair of stops in the 87th and 92nd minutes to keep the Grifins at bay.

Gwynedd resumes action on Tuesday as they make the short trip up to Doylestown to square off with Delaware Valley in a 7 p.m. start.
