Tori Goebig (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) helped enable Gwynedd Mercy to defeat Summit, 3-0, Thursday afternoon.

Meghan Petroski (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) added a goal, her fifth in four games, for the Griffins (8-3-2, 6-1 CSAC), who remained unbeaten in their last five contests.
Goebig would register her first collegiate goal in the 14th minute off a pass from Gifford. Petroski made it 2-0 in the 27th minute as she netted her team-leading 12th goal on a header set up from an assist by sophomore
Anna Numerato (Audubon, Pa./Methacton).
Despite a 17-1 shot advantage by the Griffins in the first half, the Defenders looked to answer in the second, firing off five shots, two of which were stopped by Tadley.
With less than five minutes to play, Goebig would return the favor as she assisted on Gifford's second goal of the season to cap the scoring on the day.
Elysia Hinkel would record 11 saves in goal for Summit (4-9, 2-6 CSAC).
Gwynedd Mercy travels to Immaculata on Saturday and can inch closer to cementing a playoff berth with a win.
