ANNVILLE, PA. -- The Gwynedd Mercy Volleyball Squad dropped a pair of matches at the Rumble in the Valley hosted by Lebanon Valley College.

The Griffins fell, 3-0, to the host Dutchwomen (25-13, 25-11, 25-10) before losing to Franklin & Marshall by a similar 3-0 defeat (25-8, 25-15, 25-16).

Against Lebanon Valley, sophomore Laura Kirk (Saegertown, Pa./Maplewood) led GM with four kills and added seven digs.

Kirk would lead the team in kills vs. F&M with four while sophomore Rachel Hall (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) penciled in a game-high eight digs.

Gwynedd (2-5) is off until Tuesday when they head up the road to Delaware Valley College for a 7 p.m. start. On Thursday, the Griffins welcome Bryn Athyn in their home opener at the Griffins Complex also in a 7 p.m. start.
