2014 CSAC Tournament First-Round Game
BOX SCOREIMMACULATA, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy's season came to an end with an 8-1 defeat at Immaculata in the opening round of the 2014 CSAC Softball Tournament.
The Griffins were held to just three hits by the Mighty Mac's Meagan Fitzgerald and would not get their first one until the sixth.
Down 4-0 in the fifth, GM looked to get back in it, managing to get two on from an error and a walk with two outs, but Fitzgerald would record one of her five strikeouts to end the threat.
Gwynedd would get a run home in that sixth when senior

MaryKate Ballerino (Hatboro, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham).
Seven different Immaculata players drove in a run. They'll advance to the championship double elimination tournament up at Marywood this weekend.

Farrar ends her four-year career with four all conference honors and with a career batting average of.379. She also totaled 148 hits and 97 RBI's in 132 games played. Of her 148 hits 55 were for extra bases (20 doubles/20 triples/15 home run).
The Griffins end the season with a final record of 12-24.
