GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Cabrini swept a CSAC Doubleheader on Monday, winning game one, 7-4, and the second, 8-0.

The Griffins held a 3-2 lead before a four-run sixth inning by the Cavaliers turned the tide in game one.

Sophomore Megan Kelly (Ivyland, Pa./Little Flower) singled twice and scored twice while senior Stephanie Farrar (North Wales, Pa./North Penn) added two hits. After Steph Diegel's RBI double in the first, Kelly would score on a wild pitch from third and Farrar would later come home on a groundout for a 2-1 lead after one inning.

Kelly led off the third with a base hit before scoring on Farrar's single to right as an error allowed a run to score. Farrar would take third and try for home, but the relay in from the outfield was in time.

Diegel would double again in the fourth later score on a groundout to cut it to 3-2. The Cavs would score their four runs in the sixth on just two hits and an error, all coming with two outs. GM (9-20, 9-7 CSAC) would get one back in the bottom half on a RBI double from sophomore Kelsey McDonough (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower).

Ashley Lamont (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) took the loss, giving up six earned on nine hits, with seven K's and just one walk.  Cabrini's Taylor Gallagher scattered eight hits on one earned one with four strikeouts and no walks.

Game two saw Kiley Sharp hold the Griffin bats to just four hits. The Cavaliers (16-15, 11-5 CSAC) would break open a scoreless game with a five-spot in the fourth and later add three in the seventh.

Senior Hillary Ware (Hedgesville, WVa./Hedgesville) reached base twice, one via hit, the other a walk while Farrar totaled two more hits.

Tomorrow's originally scheduled DH with Marywood has been moved to Saturday with a new start time of 1 p.m. GM will get back at it on Wednesday with two up at Baptist Bible starting at 3 p.m.
