BOX SCOREBALTIMORE, MD. -- The Griffins suffered their fourth conference defeat in row, falling 3-1 at Notre Dame Thursday evening. Set scores were 22-25, 25-17, 25-15, and 25-16.
Gwynedd (6-16, 1-4 CSAC), who is still winless in four tries in matches that go four sets, totaled 26 kills and 26 errors on 154 attempts. Junior
Lauren Tressel (Pembroke, Ma./Pembroke) led GM with 11 kills, her fourth double-digit amount this season.
Marylu Ortiz was one of three Gators to finish in double digits in kills, totaling a match-high 17. Notre Dame hit 47-30-151 (.113) on the night.
The Griffins will get right back at it on Saturday when they host a tri-match with Arcadia and Keystone. Gwynedd will battle Arcadia at 11 a.m. then take on Keystone in a CSAC match at 3 p.m. The Knights and Giants will do battle in between matches at 1 p.m.
