Kelly Kruk (Phoenixville, Pa./Methacton) tied a career-high with 16 saves to register her 16th career shutout as Gwynedd Mercy won their fourth in a row in a 2-0 win at Delaware Valley on Tuesday.
Kruk made eight stops in each half for her first clean sheet this season. The Griffins (8-3) got first-half goals from junior
Stephanie Bacho (Cinnaminson, N.J./Holy Cross) and freshman
Brianna O'Connell (Berlin, N.J./Eastern). Senior
Brittany Wilson (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Upper Moreland) assisted on both goals, which was a personal best.
The Aggies (5-8) fired off 22 shots to Gwynedd's 14. DVC keeper Emily Aldridge would make nine saves in the loss.
The Griffins will look to make it five straight when they travel to Marywood on Saturday for a CSAC contest.
