RADNOR, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy lost their CSAC Opener at Cabrini Thursday night, 3-0. Set scores were 25-5, 25-11, and 25-14.

Senior Michelle Carrieri (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) led the Griffins in kills (4) and attempts (19). Sophomore Caroline Bisch (East Norriton, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) added seven assists while Lauren Tressel (Pembroke, Ma./Pembroke) had a team-high five digs. As a team GM (1-8, 0-1 CSAC) generated nine kills on 49 attempts.

Jen Grenauer led the Cavs (7-2, 1-0 CSAC) with nine kills while Kelly Guarino added six along with six digs.

Gwynedd Mercy will travel to Albright on Saturday for a tri-match with King's. The Griffins will take on the host Lions at 11 a.m. and then battle the Monarchs at 1 p.m.
