CAZENOVIA, N.Y. – The Gwynedd-Mercy Volleyball Team went 1-3 in the season opening Blue & Gold Classic hosted by Cazenovia College Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, the Griffins fell 3-1 to the host Wildcats (15-25. 25-17. 28-26, 25-17) and 3-0 to Lasell. Saturday saw GM (1-3) drop a tough 3-2 loss to Alfred (25-17, 25-23, 25-21, 25-23, 15-12) but pick up a 3-0 win over Bryn Athyn (25-22, 25-11, 25-19) to close out the weekend.
