BALTIMORE, MD. -- Gwynedd Mercy snapped out of a three-game skid with a convincing 10-0 win at Notre Dame of Maryland on Saturday in their CSAC opener.
Senior
Maria Karidas (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South) had a career day, totaling a personal-best eight points on three goals and two assists. Sophomore
Stephanie Bacho (Cinnaminson, N.J./Holy Cross) and freshman
Tori Corbin (New Oxford, Pa./Delone Catholic) each added two goals apiece.
Katie O'Neill (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) dished out three assists while adding a score and
Megan Senkeleski (Little Silver, N.J./Red Bank) added a tally to round out the scoring.
The Griffins (5-6, 1-0 CSAC) scored early and often, scoring three times in the first 15 minutes of the contest, and did not look back from there.
Gwynedd returns to action on Saturday when they host Keystone in a CSAC clash beginning at 2 p.m.
