GALLOWAY, N.J. -- Richard Stockton sent Gwynedd Mercy to its third loss in a row with a 4-1 defeat Tuesday evening in non-conference action.
The Griffins (4-6) fell behind 2-0 in the game's first 10 minutes on a pair of goals from Susie Balidemaj. Richard Stockton would add to more in the stanza to build a 4-0 lead at the break.
Senior
Maria Karidas (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South) opened the second with her team-leading fourth tally of the season and her 50th career goal just seven minutes into the half. It would be all the offense Gwynedd could stir up the rest of the way.
Goalie
Kelly Kruk (Phoenixville, Pa./Methacton) was kept busy, making 13 saves on 22 shots.
Rileigh Ruff and Megan Irving also scored for the Ospreys (7-3).
Karidas now has 50 goals, 29 assists, and 129 points in 65 career games.
Gwynedd Mercy will begin conference play on Saturday when they travel to Notre Dame of Maryland in a 1 p.m. start.
