ROSEMONT, PA. – Four players went for double digits as Gwynedd-Mercy took down Rosemont, 81-66, Wednesday evening.

The Griffins held the Ravens to just 13 first-half points, as a 25-4 run to close the stanza put GM up 16 points at the break.

Freshman Darnell Artis (Philadelphia, Pa./LaSalle College H.S.) and senior Frank Champion (Northfield, N.J./Mainland) both eclipsed the 20-plus point mark, with 24 and 21 respectively. Sophomore Justin Knight (Mays Landing, N.J./Oakcrest) and freshman Larry Jones III (Woodbine, N.J./Holy Spirit) each had 11 points as GM shot a hare under 50% for the game and held a dominating 44-22 rebound edge on the night.

Knight and Jones pulled down a team-leading six apiece. Knight also added five assists and four steals.

Kiwan Murray netted 17 points for the Ravens (8-4, 3-3 CSAC), who rebounded from a 20% shooting clip in the first to go 57% (19-of-33) in the second.

GM kept a double-figure lead throughout the second as their largest lead came off a three-point play from Jones III for a 67-45 lead with just under seven minutes to go.

Gwynedd-Mercy will welcome Cairn on Saturday as part of a CSAC Doubleheader with the women. Tipoff for the men's game is at 4 p.m.
