GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy defeated Wesley, 2-1, Saturday afternoon in the opening game of the 2012 Griffin Classic.
After a scoreless first half, the Wolverines struck in first twenty three seconds into the second with a breakaway goal scored by Kelly Edmunds at the 45:23 mark.
