GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. – Richard Stockton edged Gwynedd-Mercy in overtime, 3-2, Tuesday night.

Down 2-1 in the second half, the Griffins (9-4) would tie late on a score from freshman Megan Senkeleski (Little Silver, N.J./Red Bank).

The Osprey's Alicia Leadbeater ended it with a score 2:22 into overtime as GM is now 1-1 in extra time this season.

Goalie Kelly Kruk (Phoenixville, Pa./Methacton) recorded eight saves and the Griffin defense withstood a RSC penalty corner with no time remaining in regulation.

Keeper Liz Stankiewicz replace starter Sara Winters late in the contest to earn the win. Winters had six saves and used a defensive save early in the second. Junior Sarah Jackson (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) looked to score past a diving Winters but teammate Sarah Walsh swatted away Jackson's shot in mid air.

After an early Osprey score, junior Caitlin Donahue (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland) made it 1-1 with her third goal on the year. Tied at 1-1, going into the second, Richard Stockton (3-9) took a lead in the 62nd minute.

GM was outshot, 20-11, for the game including, 3-0, in the overtime session.

The Griffins will look to bounce back on the road this Saturday when they play at Cabrini at noon in a rematch of last season's conference championship game.
