ASTON, PA. – The Gwynedd-Mercy College Volleyball team concluded their 2012 season with a 3-0 CSAC loss at Neumann on Saturday. Game scores were 25-10, 25-10, and 25-9.
It was the final match for the team's three seniors:
Kristen Gambone (East Norriton, Pa./Lansdale Catholic),
Kelsey Craig (Boothwyn, Pa./Chichester), and
Ariana Richards (Latrobe, Pa./Greater Latrobe).
Junior
Michelle Carrieri (Warrington, Pa./Council Rock South) had team highs of five kills and six digs. Gambone dished out 11 assists, Craig two kills and solo block, and Richards added four kills and five digs.
Katelin Kuklentz led the Knights (21-8, 11-0 CSAC) with 12 kills.
The Griffins end the season with a final mark of 3-24 and 2-9 in conference play.
