SCRANTON, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy lost a 3-0 decision at Marywood Thursday night in a Colonial States Athletic Conference Match. Game scores were 25-12, 25-17, and 25-13.

The Griffins totaled just 20 kills, but recorded 23 errors, notching the third time this season the team had more errors than kills.

Senior Aileen Reilly (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) had 11 of those kills while adding eight digs.

Marywood (9-5, 3-1 CSAC ) didn't have a player in double-digit kills. Ashley Zalewski and Emily Fillman each recorded eight kills. Zalewski also chipped in two solo blocks.

Gwynedd-Mercy (4-9, 1-3 CSAC) returns to action next Wednesday, October 5th when they travel to Philadelphia Biblical for a tri-match with Delaware Valley. GM will play DVC at 6 p.m. followed by the Griffins taking on the host Crimson Eagles at 8 p.m.
