GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Two goals each from senior Casey Dellostretto (Hatboro, Pa./Upper Moreland) and freshman Brooke Stretch (Havertown, Pa./Archbishop Prendergast) helped lead Gwynedd-Mercy to a convincing 6-1 over Marywood Saturday morning.

Junior Erin Gorenflo (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) and sophomore Maria Karidas (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South) also netted goals for the Griffins (5-3, 2-0 CSAC) who remained unbeaten in conference play.

Dellostretto got the party started early 1:15 into the contest with an assist from Stretch as she buried home the first of her two scores on the day. She would strike later in the first as GM would lead 2-0 at the break.

After Stretch tallied an unassisted score in the 38th minute, the Pacers' Kathryn Morin beat GM keeper Kelly Kruk (Phoenixville, Pa./Methacton) in the 46th minute to make it a 3-1 contest.

Later, the Griffins responded in a offensive fleury, notching three goals in a three minute span to give themselves plenty of distance in the win.

GM oushot Marywood (1-6. 1-1 CSAC), 23-2.

Gwynedd-Mercy returns to action tomorrow with a non-league game at William Paterson beginning at 5 p.m.
