GALLOWAY, N.J. -- Gwynedd-Mercy suffered a 3-2 overtime loss at Richard Stockton Thursday evening.

The Griffins (3-3) used two goals in the first half to lead 2-0 after 35 minutes, but the Ospreys answered with two of their own in the second, with the latter coming with 1:23 left in regulation.

Senior Casey Dellostretto (Hatboro, Pa./Upper Moreland) converted on a penalty corner in the 14th minute for her third goal on the season. Soon after, sophomore Sarah Jackson (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) added her team-leading fifth score of the year in the 22nd minute. It seemed to be all Gwynedd in the first half, as GM totaled 17 shots and nine penalty corners.

After RIchard Stockton (4-2) got on the board in the 49th minute, Alicia Leadbeater scored the game-tying goal on an assist from Susie Balidemaj.

Early into the extra session, Leadbeater returned the favor and set up Balidemaj for the game-winner, at the 72:30 mark.

Gwynedd-Mercy returns to action on Tuesday when they open CSAC play at Notre Dame beginning at 4 p.m.
