GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd-Mercy was clicking on all cylinders in a 5-0 non-league win over Delaware Valley Tuesday night.

Sophomore Kristy Kelleher (Oxford, Pa./Oxford) scored twice while senior Casey Dellostretto (Hatboro, Pa./Upper Moreland) and sophomore Maria Karidas (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South) each added a goal and an assist.

The Griffins (3-2) dominated mostly every stat cataegory, outshooting the Aggies, 34-2, and holding a 17-2 penalty corner edge.

Karidas put GM on the board in the 19th minute as she was able to take a ball off a defender and beat DVC keeper Hollis Hancock on a short breakaway for a 1-0 lead. Dellostretto made it 2-0 as she sent in a laser off a penalty corner in the 31st minute. Karidas would set up sophomore Sarah Jackson (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) just over a minute later for the third goal of the half.

Hancock recorded 19 saves. The duo of freshman Kelly Kruk (Phoenixville, Pa./Methacton) and sophomore Christa Breidenstein (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) combined on the shutout.

Gwynedd-Mercy returns to action on Thursday when they travel to Richard Stockton in a 7 p.m. start.
