HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. -- Gwynedd-Mercy lost a CSAC doubleheader at Centenary on Friday falling in game one, 12-0, and the second, 12-4, to extend the Griffin's winless streak to seven games.

In game one, Gwynedd was limited to just hit as the Cyclones jumped out to a 9-0 lead after three innings. Centenary pitcher Kristin Durborow struck out nine as the game was halted after the fifth.

Game two saw the Griffins (5-14, 3-7 CSAC) rally from a 4-1 deficit with a three-run fourth. The big hit came from freshman Stephanie Farrar (North Wales, Pa./North Penn) in the form of a two-run triple. She would later score on a Katlin Nuscis (Chichester, Pa./Chichester) RBI single.

The Cyclones would break it open for good by plating eight runs in the bottom of the frame. Caitlin Veverka doubled and tripled in that inning to complete the cycle, going 4-for-4 with three runs scored and three driven in.
